3 months old!!!

So today our baby girl is 3 months old already!! Time is flying by. And today guess what the little bugger did yesterday?













She rolled over!! TWICE! And I got the second one on video! I just have to figure out how to get it from my phone to the computer...

12 weeks and counting!

Well miss Esella is almost 3 months old. She turned 12 weeks on Friday. Time is FLYING by! We think she is going through a growth spurt (her sleeping was off a few days) and she will soon be out of her 3 month clothes. She is enjoying her play mat more and more these days which is awesome for mommy! :) She continues to love to be "worn" in her sling around the house and while out and about so she can see what is going on and still be close to mommy. Justin will put her in the Baby Bjorn around the house as well..she LOVES it!

Happy Hallmark Day! Eeerrr...I mean Valentines Day!!

Today is Ellie's first Valentines day (or as Justin and I call it...Hallmark day...ha ha). Grams and Grandpa (Katie's parents) sent Ellie her first V-Day gift...here she is checking it out! Also..today was the first time I got her REALLY smiling big on camera! Usually as soon as I get the camera she stops smiling as she is too busy concentrating on the camera...studying it!

First Friends!

I joined a local mommies group and have met some awesome ladies! One of my new friends has a daughter who was born just 8 1/2 hours before Esella! We will call her Baby "A" here...but she actually is named the name we were originally going to call Esella!! Esella and Baby A have other things in common...they both are a 1/4 Asian! Yesterday we went to the mall together and after a diaper change...Esella and Baby A discovered each other! This was the first time they had laid next to each other. It was SO cute! They even "talked" to each other a little! Here are some pictures...

Play time and Bath time!!

So here is miss Esella in her big girl chair playing with her new mirror...she loves it!

Bathtime! We started out with a little tub....we hate it! It leaks like crazy...so we could never really submerge her and she was always cold and cried through all her baths! :( So we just got her this...a "bath sling" that you can just put in your regular tub. She likes it much better....no crying and she actually SMILED during bath time! YAY!

We have take off!!!

Ellie surprised me this morning by showing off her mad head-lifting skills! She really is not a fan of "tummy time" most of the time...but I flipped her over today to check out her back and this is what she did...







She is getting so big and so strong!!! Next thing we know she will be crawling!!!

We are "talking!"

Well, Ellie Belly Jelly Bean is growing like a weed! She continues to be around the 50th percentile for both height and weight. She has been smiling like crazy for weeks now...and has been "talking" up a storm! Its so cool to just hang out and have a "conversation" with her! She has even started to try to laugh...though its been coming out more like a cough :)

Her favorite things to do these days are smile, coo, "converse" with mommy and daddy, watch the tv, "talk" to her toys who hang on her play mat, look at herself and "talk" to herself in the mirror, sleep, eat, poop, pee, suck on her fists...she is a busy girl!
