We Are Just Days Away!!!

The Arthritis Walk is just a couple days away...in fact...only about 1 1/2 days!! 

Our news story should be airing on CBC 5 San Francisco Friday the 29th at 5pm. It unfortunately got bumped from airing today...so please keep your fingers crossed that they don't bump us again!!!

Happy Easter!

We had a fantastic Easter weekend. 

Saturday was the Dublin Eggstavaganza at the park by Melissa and Chris' place (Justin's sister). So we headed over there in the morning. 

After wondering around the festivities for a while, we headed to M&C's place so Ellie and CJ could do another little egg hunt. 

Then.....we came home, took naps, and dyed Easter eggs!

But we weren't done yet! THEN we made carrot cakeletts for the Easter Bunny (with our awesome new pans!!), and then before dinner we left out some carrots and some carrot cake for the Big Bunny.

And then it was off to hunt for eggs!

We spent the rest of our Sunday relaxing, taking care of little things around, and Justin even got a little nap in! :)

Fundraising Fundraising Fundraising!

The last couple weeks Team Esella has been going full force in the fundraising. We had three "events": Casino Night, a Jewelery Party, and our Ellie Belly Lemonade Stand. It was two fantastic, busy and successful weeks and we are EXHAUSTED! HA!

So on April 9th one of my best friends, Somer, and her boyfriend Po and their roommates threw our first annual Casino Night! There was a poker tournament, raffle prizes, food and fun. It was a BLAST! They did a fantastic job and they raised over $500 for Team Esella!

On April 15th, my good friend Erin hosted a Premier Designs Jewelery Party, where 20% of the proceeds will go to Team Esella. That raised over $200 for Team Esella! It was a fun relaxing "girls night" with good wine and great company and a little shopping that benefited a great cause.

Then on April 16th, Esella hosted the first annual Ellie Belly Lemonade Stand! Justin and I made a "stand", my cousin Debra came with home made lemon cookies and pie, and our parents helped us set up and man the stand. Our neighbors came out in full force and we raised over $700! That combined with online donations from our neighbors and our neighborhood collectively raised $1000 for our team!

So yes in 2 weeks we raised around $1500 between our three little events. I would say they were all a SUCCESS!!!!

As of today we have raised $14,775!!!

Life has been busy but good. :)
