Well....Justin and I are now the parents of a ONE YEAR OLD! Yesterday, November 28th 2009 at 6:34 am, our sweet baby girl turned one. We cannot believe that a year has gone by already. It has been an amazing year of first smiles, laughs, rolls, steps, holidays and hugs. Right now as our baby is sound asleep on Daddy's chest I am looking around our home and realizing that.....
We no longer have a living room.
It has been taken over by toys. *sigh*
OH the joys of parenthood! :) Thank God we bought this house!! Otherwise we would have no room!
So for those of you who could not attend, we had a "Winter ONEderland" theme. We decorated the whole house with snowflakes and snowmen and penguins. Since it is chilly in the winter, we had a "Chili bar" (get it??) with three different kinds of chili (Thanks to Ellie's two wonderful grandmothers) with all kinds of toppings. We also had cornbread, salad (thanks to Ellie's Auntie Melissa Legs), Potato salad, and of course.....cake and ice cream! There were just under 50 people here, and luckily the weather was great so we were able to use our back yard as well. It was really a great time. Thank you to all who came or sent her gifts!! We have a LOT of thank you cards to send!! :)
Well...here are some pics from the party. For more pictures, you can check out my Facebook page.

Take care,
