6 weeks and 22 inches of smiles!!

Today Esella is 6 weeks old! She had a doctors appt today. She weighs in at 9 lbs 13 oz and is 22 inches long! (She was 7-9 and 20.25 at birth). She is between the 50th-75th percentile for length and is in the 50th percentile for weight. Her head continue to be small but growing and staying in the 25th percentile. She had to get a shot today, which she was not thrilled with! :( It was the second Hep B vaccine. But she eventually calmed down once we got in the car and it started moving.

So what does Esella enjoy these days? People's faces! She LOVES to stare at peoples faces...especially her Daddy. She has also started "talking"....ha ha ha. She coos at you and it is so darn cute! She also likes to look at lights and things all around her. She can roll from her back to her side and enjoys swinging her her swing once in a while.

BUT- the coolest thing though..is that she is starting to really smile now!!! I was able to catch her today during a diaper change on camera...the lighting was not the best so some are a little blurry but here they are!
