Family Vacation!

Well as all the house issues were unfolding...we headed off on our first family vacation! We rented an RV and headed down the coast with the baby and the dog. We visited Solvang, a little dutch town in southern CA, then headed up to Pismo Beach for a couple days and then we headed up to Monterey. My parents met us in Monterey and joined us to visit the aquarium. Overall it was a fun trip, but a little stressful at times! Here are some pictures from our little 6 day trip!

This is what Ellie thought of Solvang! Ha!Then we drove up to Pismo Beach from Solvang...Ellie decided to get some much needed reading done..

After Pismo we drove up HY 1 (yes...we went all the way up HW 1 in an RV!!) to Monterey. We stopped at Heast Castle on our way. Justin and I had both been there as kids.

House Update...

So last time I wrote I said we were putting the house up on the market. Well... we put our house on the market on a Wednesday and we accepted one of 9 offers 6 days later! The next day we put in an offer on a home in Dublin and it was accepted! So we are now in escrow on both homes. Escrow on Milpitas should close around May 26th and in Dublin about June 4th.

Our new home in Dublin is 1940 sq feet, 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bath. We had hoped for a 4 bedroom home- but we fell in love with the location and lot of this home. It is located close to a big grassy park with play structures Esella will love to play on when she is bigger. The houses lot backs up to a huge hilly park great for hiking. Its only about a mile or so from the freeway yet you feel like you are in the rolling hills and hear nothing but birds chirping. Here are some pictures.

The patio
The hilly part of the lot...the lot goes almost all the way up the hill. We will eventually fence it all in so Ainsley can run up and down it!
The back deck. We actually plan to remove it and put in grass for Ainsley and Ellie to play inNow...everyone keep your fingers crossed that escrows close on both homes with no major hick-ups!!! :)
